HASAN reviews and identifies the most promising Camel startups from our startup dealflow pipeline on our investment platforms.
HASAN actively sources for startups with VCs and other Angel groups, strategic ecosystem partners and of course our own HASAN members. We then collectively fund these startups, typically alongside other investors.

We bring deal flow and convenience. We leverage the deal-sourcing and screening of Ethis platforms and our other partners, for our leads to then identify our top picks for our angel network to invest in.
The end-to-end investment facilitation which includes structuring, legal documentation, Shariah advisory, SPV formation and post-investment reporting (for some deals) is handled by licensed platforms Ethis Malaysia and EthisX in Oman. HASAN investors transact as ordinary users on our platforms.
For startups, we suggest our network to accumulate a portfolio of 5 to 10 companies over 1 to 2 years. For other investments, it depends. Through active engagements and forums, network members and leads formulate and share tactics to invest in deals together.
For most deals, Investors can invest any amount from US$2,500.
The recommended minimums based on tiers are:
Starter: US$2,500
Pro: US$10,000
Cornerstone: US$100,000
HASAN does not currently charge members of our network any upfront fees. We do charge a 10% ‘carry’ which is a share of profits realised from any exits of our network’s portfolio companies.
New members are encouraged to make a charitable donation to HASAN Wells project, which is an endowment (Waqf) by our network.

Yes, investors from all countries can invest, except for US persons (due to tax regulations). Investors will need to pass KYC and compliance on Ethis platforms.
Deals are hosted on Ethis.co/my for Malaysian companies, and on Ethisx.co for deals from other countries. You can get updates and details from the dashboard.
